The Church continues to be alive and active, but our building is now closed
As the number of people falling sick with COVID-19 continues to rise, we must distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives.
Therefore, as well as public worship being suspended, St Nicholas and all church buildings in the Church of England are now closed. Our worship of God and our care for each other continue but cannot be done in the building.
If you would like to receive our e-Church bulletins, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01522 540614.
Hugh, our vicar, is very much still at work and can be contacted by telephoning 07792 423927 or emailing email@example.com
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength… Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”
To protect the vulnerable amongst us, please continue to follow Government health advice:
Stay at home
- Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
- If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
- Wash your hands as soon as you get home
Do not meet others, even friends or family.
You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
