THE REV'D ALICE JOLLEY

   Alice

Alice grew up in a rural parish in North Lincolnshire, just outside Scunthorpe, where her parents still live.  After leaving school Alice went to St. Alban’s Cathedral where she spent a very fruitful and challenging year as a pastoral assistant.  Following this she went on to study Theology at Durham University, describing the time there as three of the best and happiest years of her life.

In the final year of her degree Alice felt an ever-deepening call to the priesthood, and she was selected to train for ordained ministry. This took place at Westcott House in Cambridge.  Alice is continuing her studies by reading for an MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission.

Alice was ordained Deacon in June 2019, and we are pleased that she is joining us at St. Nicholas as our new Curate.    We hope that Alice and her partner Coral will enjoy their time here with us.
