Organ, Choir Stalls, Lectern and Pulpit
To your left is the organ, and ahead of you are the choir stalls from which music is made during worship and which are often used in concerts.
Near the organ is the lectern, from where Holy Scripture is read in services.
To your right is the pulpit, from where sermons are preached, the making-sense of the good news of Jesus Christ heard from the Bible readings for the present generations.
Pause here and think about the preaching of the good news of Jesus Christ for today's troubled world, and pray for all who share in making music, and for those who have the responsibility to preach the Gospel.
Go forward into the chancel and stop between the choir stalls.
